Beach Day

Okay, I'm not really into the winter and snow right now as you can tell, so I've been working on all my summer pictures from 2010.  Each year we take a trip to Lake Geneva and one of our favorite things to do is play on the beach.  Since its a yearly page I do, I try to do somethings that you wouldn't normally do for a beach day.

I picked up the Fine & Dandy True Blue Chipboard by Mind's Eye which I fell in love with.  I had other plans for some of these pieces, but thought that they were a cute addition to the beach layout.

I also used alittle Bling on the side, which I have to admit has been a hard thing for me to do in my boys books.  And of course I had to use my cricut to cut out all the letters and bottom page.  And after looking at this page, I have to say that I love it!

Zoo Pay Layout

This past year we had a membership to the zoo which meant that we were there quite often with many friends, seeing the animals and having fun.  Each time we went, I took MANY pictures since the camera never leaves my side.  It took me awhile to decide this, but rather than making a page in chronological order like I usually do, I would do a collage of all the pictures on one layout.  I love it!

I recently got the Create A Critter cartridge for my Cricut which I also love and was able to use for this page.  I think its a fun way to summarize the fun we had all summer long!

Teacher Gifts

So I know that its past that time of year, but I still thought that I would share the teacher gifts I made for my son's preschool teachers.  It was a fun gift to make and put together and the teachers loved getting them.

I picked up clear paint cans from Michael's along with some paper and ribbon. With the help of my cricut, I made this cute little "bag" in just a few minutes!

Inside were some chocolate covered pretzels, a gift card and I also made this snowman out of oreos and white chocolate.  They were delicious too!

Tractor Birthday Party

Well, when I first made this blog, I said to myself that I was going to do a great job of keeping it updated, adding new things to hopefully give inspiration and such, but I haven't done that great of a job!  But I am going to try from here on out!  Here's a continuation of that tractor party that I was showing a few months back.

It was a lot of fun to come up with ideas for this party, searching for things that I could use and putting it all together.  But the party went by in a flash and I didn't get as many pictures as I had hoped.  So the yard full of hay and such isn't pictured, but here are a few of the decorations that I used my cricut to make!

The tractor invite...there were pink ones for the girls too

The finished goodie bags.

Inside of the baby feed there was a little treat for the little ones.

The older ones were able to have a tractor chocolate sucker I made

And some fall trees (chocolate covered oreos)

I love cupcakes, especially for little ones.  This was easy to put together and went along with the theme.  Plus it wasn't very expensive at all!

I made these cupcake toppers and wrappers.  They didn't take all that long and the cost was next to nothing!

The snack table

I fell in love with this barn (also the animals and corn stalkks pictured) from SVGcuts Grandpa's Organic Farm  set.  I modified it a bit so that it was a 3D version that was able to stand up on its own.  I love this collection though and it went great with my theme!  Plus I was able to use other images from this collection too!

The banner was another quick and easy decoration that I was able to put together quickly!

And what is a farm without animals hanging around?  I had several of these little guys around the yard.
